Overview

The 9-12 Education Department provides leadership and direction for all high school administrators. The department provides professional development, support and acts as a liaison between building administrators and district administrators.

Mentor Schools Crisis Hotline

Call 974-4663 (HOME)   “CALL HOME”


The Mentor Schools Crisis Hotline is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.  A live, local operator will field the calls and direct them to the appropriate school or public safety officials.

Caller does not have to identify themselves or leave a phone number.

When should a call be made? 

Anytime an individual hears a rumor or knows for a fact that a threat is imminent to the safety or well being of our students and/or staff or other activity that would cause damage to our facilities or equipment.

Examples of emergencies:

Bomb Threat
Weapons being brought to school
Death Threat
Tampering – with school cleaning materials, cafeteria food tampering, etc.
Suicide Threat
Fighting – students planning to fight on school property
Drug sale (marijuana, hallucinogens)
Major Vandalism

A LIVE OPERATOR WILL TAKE CALLS 24 / 7.
