Welcome to the Mentor Public Schools website. One of the objectives of our strategic plan is to improve communication with you, our stakeholders, and we hope this website will help us achieve this objective.The site includes information about each functional department within the district, a staff directory, and a district calendar of events. If you go to Schools page, you will have the option of clicking on any of the individual buildings which will bring up a message from the principal, lunch menus, a calendar of building events and a staff directory. TREASURER

The Treasurer’s Office oversees all of the financial operations of the district. The Chief Financial Officer reports directly to the Board of Education.

HUMAN RESOURCES
|
|
The Human Resources Department supports certified, classified and administrative staff by posting vacant positions, screening applicants, conducting interviews and providing orientation for new employees.

| K-8 EDUCATION |
|
The K-8 Education Department provides leadership and direction for all elementary and middle school administrators. The department provides professional development, support and acts as a liaison between building administrators and district administrators.

The 9-12 Education Department provides leadership and direction for all high school administrators. The department provides professional development, support and acts as a liaison between building administrators and district administrators.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The Information Technology Department is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the district’s technology platform. Currently, the department manages a network with over 2500 computers located in one of the district’s 16 locations.

The Business Operations Department is responsible for the overseeing the food service operations, student transportation, fleet maintenance and the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
